Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
[edit]On 24 Aug 2001 you started a stub Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn - and you challenged Wikipedia "to improve on the quality of articles already out there." Well, it's been 3 and a half years, and I think it's turned into something pretty good. I hope you're doing well. cheers, Kingturtle 07:00, 13 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you for the pointer. It is, indeed, a good article now! — tbc 22:58, 16 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Anglicanism and the Anglican Communion
[edit]Hello! I noticed that you have identified yourself as an Anglican, and so I thought that you may be interested in checking out a new WikiProject - WikiProject Anglicanism. Please consider signing up and participating in this collaborative effort to improve and expand articles related to Anglicanism and the Anglican Communion! Cheers! Fishhead64 23:54, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the invite. I may do that when my job isn't so demanding. — tbc 00:02, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Hello, I noticed you mentioned me in your user page. I believe the Episcopal Church began calling itself TEC last winter (2006), I hope that helps!
--GBVrallyCI 21:46, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, yes. In 2006 I was curious about that [1]. Thanks for the info! — tbc (talk) 23:12, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Claudia Rosett
[edit]G'day from Australia. I've just edited the Claudia Rosett article using information you provided. If you could take a look, I'd appreciate any comments or improvements you might have. Cheers, CWC(talk) 07:13, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
- G'day, Chris. The edits look good to me. Then again, I haven't touched that page lately. It's evolved far beyond my modest first draft. — tbc 09:01, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Dude sorry about your mom. --Camilo Sanchez (talk) 00:01, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit]MWUP 2009
[edit]I found your old user page while checking out some old deleted contributions. I have history merged it, so that all edits are in one place. Hope you don't mind. Graham87 14:41, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Tim, I've also moved your old user talk page to User talk:Tim Chambers/Old, and reverted it to the content version, while I sort out where the history went to on Meta. I've left a note about the history of the Meta version of that page here on Meta. Graham87 15:13, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Graham. Thanks for the maintenance, but I see zero diffs. — tbc (talk) 00:19, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
MWUP 2010
[edit]Hi Tim, I'm baaaaack; :-) I'm just going through the list of pages with the most edits on the Nostalgia Wikipedia. The null diff is normal; if the diff showed any change in the text, I'd be worried. Anyway, re: your Meta userpage, I've just asked a friend of mine to undelete it. It was deleted because the username "Tim Chambers" is not registered on Meta. Graham87 13:18, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
- I've restored your userpage and moved it to your Meta username. Please ask to be renamed at m:Meta:Changing username. Thank you, Nemo 21:10, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
- Graham and Nemo, thank you so much! I hope I meet you both in person someday. Might have been my mistake. I see that I never renamed it from meta:User:Tbc. If it's all the same to the community, I'll just leave the redirect from Tim Chambers to tbc. — tbc (talk) 20:47, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
- You're most welcome. Graham87 00:50, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
- BTW, you might want to create an account named "Tim Chambers" on Meta, just to make sure that the "User:Tim Chambers" redirect survives there. Also, I've replied to your question on Meta. Graham87 01:09, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Tim Chambers 1E4AF729D5CEFFD0 wikiwiki.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Tim Chambers 1E4AF729D5CEFFD0 wikiwiki.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Tim Chambers! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 330 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Jamshied Sharifi - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article ONO (social network) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article lacks in-line citation, issues with WP:CORPDEPTH and WP:RS
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Edidiong (talk) 20:23, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
Ellipsis button
[edit]Do you think you'd might have been better creating this currently unreferenced stub within the 'Usage in menus' section of Ellipsis, or making a new 'GUI' section there? Cheers Nick Moyes (talk) 01:06, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
- I'm satisfied with the stub I created. I was inspired when I saw the incorrect redirect of Kebab menu to Hamburger button. I don't think it makes sense to mention Ellipsis button in Ellipsis. I don't see Hamburger menu in Hamburger. I did add it to Ellipsis (disambiguation), though. — tbc (talk) 21:47, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not at all satisfied with a tiny stub that fails to cite a single source. Please fix that, at least. Nick Moyes (talk) 23:33, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- With all due respect, what deadline did you have in mind for me to invest my time in fulfilling your request, and what is the consequence for missing the deadline? Maybe the norms have changed and I missed the memo, but I thought this was a volunteer community project where one person plants a seed with minimal content and others help the garden grow. — tbc (talk) 17:16, 12 September 2018 (UTC)

Ellipsis button moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Ellipsis button, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 03:08, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your "help." I hadn't realized stubs were so unwelcome. Wasn't like that in the early days. Anyway, I'll see what I can do to add minimal sources. — tbc (talk) 05:28, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Ellipsis button
[edit]Hello, Tim Chambers. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ellipsis button".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rollidan (talk) 18:56, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
